• Discover the 5 Steps of Probate: Dive deep into the probate process and gain clarity on each of the critical steps involved.

• Explore Property Transfers: Discover the different ways property can be transferred upon death, ensuring you’re well-informed about your options.

• Navigate the Probate "Doors": Uncover the various pathways within the probate system, along with the procedures and costs associated with each choice.

• Learn Practical Tips for Executors: Equip yourself with invaluable strategies to simplify your responsibilities as an Executor.

• Unravel the Will: Delve into the terms of your loved one's Will—if one exists! Evaluate their intentions for the legacy they've left behind.

• Assess the Estate: Take stock of the assets that comprise this fictional estate and consider how the asset make-up shapes your decisions moving forward.

• Chart the Probate Path: Gather the necessary court forms and prepare to submit them to the "clerk" for approval. This step is crucial in developing your understanding of how to work within the court's bounds according to legal protocols.

Other important information:

Each individual participant must have a ticket. All tickets include 3 hours of group instruction plus an optional 30-minute personal debrief.

You need to attend the entirety of Session One in order to participate in Session Two. Session One is where you learn the analytical and practical skills you will apply in Session Two. You will be provided with pen and paper for the Workshop. You will not need anything else unless you wish to take notes on your laptop or tablet. Bottled water and light refreshments (pretzels, chips, crackers, etc.) will be provided as well.
